Leaving Durban and bound for Kazerne in Johannesburg is 18-609 with a load of containers, crossing the Mkondeni Viaduct in the section between Ashburton and Pietermaritzburg.

18-283 assisted by four additional units has just crossed the Mkondeni Viaduct with a long load of 65 Type CAR wagon empties, which were picked up at Cato Ridge a little earlier.

This short train of 21 empty grain wagons (various types) is busy crossing the Mkondeni Viaduct in the section between Ashburton and Pietermaritzburg as it leaves Durban.
